The following is from Carmen Chin's Blog. Since her blog is private, I'm posting her longer and more complete version of our outing. =D
This Is It! This Is REALLY It!!!
I did plan to write yesterday when I returned from tuition but I was too exhausted and my eyes half-closed. I hope after 9 hours of sleep, I could still recall what happen yesterday. I will break my post into several sub-topics which are:1. First time driving to Gurney
2. The ladies who borrowed I-Lyn’s popular card
3. This Is It!
4. The two baboons.
5. Going home
1. This is my first time ever driving to Gurney and I would consider myself unlucky because I-Lyn and Angeline both prefer Gurney. I would personally prefer Queensbay! (because I know the route to Queensbay!) Lol. However, I sort of remember a bit on the route to Gurney as I went there with my family a few weeks ago and I took the initiative to analyse the roads. =D Or else, I would just sit and enjoy myself in the car. Lol. The part that I am most concern of is my parking. I am just a 1month plus driver and I still need to improve on my parking skills. I fetched I-Lyn there and we took quite some time to find a spot which is easy to park. You know me…=D We went through a ‘pintu rintangan’ to get into the mall. I was surprised that we were not the only students who were there. We brought clothes to change but other students actually walked with their school uniforms on. Oh well…
2. After changing, Angeline informed us that she would be reaching late and so we decided to go to Popular Bookstore as I-Lyn wanted to buy some books. I-Lyn was having a hard time choosing and couldn’t decide on which book to buy because all of them does not have much difference actually. However, she still managed to take… I guess 3 books? I couldn’t remember. As we were walking towards the counter, there were two Adventist hospital nurses who asked whether we could lend them the popular membership card. No offences but their acting were really bad when the counter lady told them that they were not supposed to borrow membership cards from people. Their reason is so lame saying that they brought us to Gurney during their lunch time and now they are rushing back to work as their time is almost over. My foot! We saw them outside Cold Storage half an hour later. =.=” I was telling myself that they wouldn’t have to act also if they just let I-Lyn pay everything together.
3. After having lunch at Wong Kok Kitchen, we went up to the cinema floor to get ready for the show. Since we were still a few minutes early, we went to the washroom first. When we were done, we proceed into our cinema hall and get our seats. It was really a big hall. If I am not mistaken I think that was my 1st time into such huge cinema hall. I was like…(Wow!) Hahaha!!! Angeline wanted to sit in the middle so me and I-Lyn each sat beside her. All I can say about the show is, Michael Jackson is fantastic, fabulous and tremendously great!!! I mean although it seemed to be just a rehearsal where we all would understand that he might not give all his best during practices but by watching how he planned and managed his stage, his dancers, his musics and etc., I can really imagine how grand his concert would be if he would have made it. During his rehearsal, it was shown that he put his whole heart and soul in perfecting every single small details during his concert. He wanted everything to be perfect, special, extraordinary and to look amazing in front of his fans from all over the world. If I were to make any comeback comparisons of Michael Jackson’s and other artistes, I would strongly say that his comeback will be the best among all. =D There were some funny parts throughout his work with his people also. It’s difficult to describe here in words about how superb his show was until really watched it, then you’ll probably understand. Even though he’s already 50 years old, it surprised me that he could still move and dance like how he did during his 30s to 40s. Of course his movements were not as much as last time but let’s think, how many 50 year old people can do what he’s doing? The important part is his energy is still there. His ‘semangat’. He was doing really great and it doesn’t seem as if he was a sick and was about to die. He still looked so healthy but thin. What can I say more? ‘This Is It!’ is really IT!
4. During the whole show, the three of us were so annoyed by some Chinese guys who were so uncivilized, as I would say to sing and shout throughout the show. I mean, don’t they have respect for other people? Everyone in the cinema hall came to watch and listen to Michael Jackson sing, NOT THEM or HIM!!! That bloody guy and his friend were so rude and treat the whole thing as a sing-a-long show, like some baboons that accidentally escaped from the zoo. Thank God I wasn’t sitting beside those baboons but I felt sorry for I-Lyn. Her blood was boiling throughout the whole show I bet. Right I-Lyn? Lol. We were complaining so much after the movie and I-Lyn said she should forgive them since those baboons were MJ’s fans and they love his so much. Oh, please! For me, I won’t forgive them. Because of them, I can’t get my 100% satisfaction of the show. They spoil my mood! Idiot dumbos! I mean, if it’s like in a public area, they wanna sing, go ahead. I might even sing along too. But I paid to watch the show, obviously I wouldn’t want to listen to their voices. Like shit only. I thought that was the worst part and it’s gonna be over soon when the show ended. Guess what? They stayed until the end and they sang even louder. Really like maniacs! They jumped right to the back and sing the other three songs played after the show. Some people might find their actions funny but to me, it was stupid, disturbing and disrespectful. If they were in love with MJ, why don’t they just go to red box and sing all they want? Heard they say maybe wanna rewatch the show in the next slot. *sigh* I pity the group of people there if he was really insane to watch it again at that particular day.
5. It was almost 5pm when we watch until the last bit of the show. For an RM 10 Michael Jackson movie, and since its MICHAEL JACKSON, I will make sure my ticket was worth watching! Lol. Before heading home, I bought some food for my sis in Mcd. There were so many empty parking spaces available when we were leaving. Under that condition, I was able get out of my lot easily. =D I fetch Angeline back to school and from there, her grandfather then fetched her home. Later, I dropped I-Lyn at Mcd in Greenlane for her dinner and she asked Ze Yin to fetch her at 7pm and they would go to tuition together. After that, I drove home alone. I was so sleepy yesterday. Maybe I wasn’t used to driving so much in a day. Hahaha!!!
Lastly, I would like to thank:
Angeline- for getting the tickets for us, paying for the car park ticket (make me feel so paiseh)
I-Lyn- assisting me on the way to Gurney and back to school, paying for the car park ticket (make me feel so paiseh)
* but I paid RM 0.40! Lol
Michael Jackson- for the great show he put on for us, his fans. Although he didn’t have the chance to make it but somehow, we still managed to see it and I truly appreciated everything that he had done.
Thank you, Michael Jackson!

This is it.
It would have been totally amazingly awesome. If only he did at least one concert before passing away. The pyrotechnics, technology. I like the part where they multiply by ten so it looks like a thousand ppl instead of ten. There is basically nothing not to like in the whole thing. If Michael actually worn his outfits and the full effect is there, it would have been his perfect comeback. I don't know why, earth song always makes me feel sad. Thats the only song that i actually feel sad. Carmen feels sad in I'll be there, Bhav feels sad in you are not alone. So i guess we each have our songs. Through this, at least we get a glimpse of Michael Jackson. He repeats these lines, "Thats why we have practices", "God bless you", "i love you'. Lol. He does act rather childish. Its cute. But i do agree on the fact that he wouldn't have liked to have the rehersals published. He always wanted to be the best, as he is a perfectionist and i doubt he wants ppl to see him being.. not so perfect. although he was conserving his voice, he still sounded damn good. lol. There were a lot of favourite parts in the movie. Definitely worth 10 bucks. and i'm so buying the cd. Oh and thanks to Letitia who told us about staying after the last bit where the little girl hugs the earth. Haha. reminds me of the part where MJ went on the cherry picker(thats what it sounded like when they said it in the movie. Lol. yeah. someone correct me please) and MJ was like yeah, michael the daredevil then Kenny Ortega was like, Michael, hold on to the railings please. Lol. Ok. Now, This is it was fabulous, but it let me feeling a little dissatisfied. Cause its like.. incomplete. i want the full effect. mind blowing. ugh. Ok. Now i'll get to the bad part.. There were these bunch of guys who came and sat in our row. I was directly beside and they obviously idiots as one of them thought they're voice was so beautiful(not!) and started singing along with MJ. At first nobody complained. Then he continued for the second song and yelling Mj's "aoooww!" Ppl started shushing him like mad. Then he quiet down. but was singing loud enough for ppl beside to hear. which was me. -.- i tell you i felt like strangling the life outta him. Especially in earth song. I felt like just telling him, " we all come here to hear Michael Jackson sing! NOT YOU!!!! Grrrr!!!" but i didn't wanna cause a fight or a scene. nyeh. I'm a pengecut all right. I just glared at him a few times and he still hasn't gotten the message. GRRRR. I was fuming ok. haha. angie was like saying how geram i looked in the cinema. haha. but he obviously loves MJ, although he's being a first-classed ass. But even though ppl have the URGE to sing along doesn't mean we all just blare it out for everyone to hear right. -.- Grr. They look like pai kias. hahha. After the credits rolled, they were like up near where the projector are and started tossing their shoes over the projectors and laughed as though they have never seen a shadow. -.- but oh well, forgive them, cause at least they love MJ right? lol. Carmen says she isn't forgiving them. hahaha.
Many of the musicians and craftsmen interviewed in “This Is It” talk about Michael Jackson’s perfectionism, so it begs the question: Would Michael Jackson have wanted this movie of rehearsal footage to be seen by mass audiences?
Filmed during a series of run-throughs for a London concert engagement that was canceled after Jackson’s untimely death this summer, “This Is It” takes us behind the scenes of what was going to be a gargantuan show, complete with dancers, filmed segments, pyrotechnics and acrobatics. The footage was meant for Jackson’s personal archival use; only after Jackson’s death did the concert promoters and others involved with the show decide to go public with this material.
Like any performer rehearsing for a complicated show, Jackson isn’t giving his all vocally over the course of the process — he’s figuring out segues, trying out dance steps, riding the cherry-picker and juggling any number of other issues that pop up while putting together an enterprise of this size. Subsequently, audiences who see “This Is It” expecting a traditional concert film will be disappointed; Jackson skips lines of songs while dealing with other stage matters, and even confesses at more than one point that he’s saving his voice for the real show coming up.
Where “This Is It” soars, however, is as a dance movie; to watch Michael Jackson move is to witness one of the great entertainers of the modern age. Inheriting the legacy of giants like Bill “Bojangles” Robinson, Sammy Davis Jr. and Fred Astaire — and adding his own spin — Jackson’s dance routines here are breathtaking. Emotional interviews with his backup dancers, who have come from around the world for the rare opportunity to perform alongside their idol, reveal the influence that the King of Pop (who choreographed the show in collaboration with Travis Payne) has had on subsequent generations of performers.
Watching Jackson collaborate with concert director Kenny Ortega (the man behind the “High School Musical” movies, and the director of this documentary) and the rest of the crew reveals a human side of the performer that’s been hidden from the general public for decades. We see a talented singer-dancer fine-tuning an extravaganza, and in so doing we are reminded that, behind all the tabloid craziness and larger-than-life eccentricities, there was still an artist and a person.
The slickest parts of “This Is It” are the filmed sequences that were intended to be part of the stage show, ranging from a graveyard horror show for “Thriller” to the destruction of a rainforest set to “Heal the World.” (Less successful is the “Smooth Criminal” clip, which edits Jackson into black-and-white footage from film noir classics like “Gilda” and “In a Lonely Place”; seeing Jackson in the same frame as classic Hollywood faces like Rita Hayworth and Humphrey Bogart only underscores the damage that was perpetrated upon Jackson’s visage over the years.)
Like the 1965 documentary “The Epic That Never Was,” about a movie version of “I, Claudius” that stopped production in mid-shoot, “This Is It” invites us to imagine a finished product that never came about. To remember Jackson’s singing voice at its finest, put his albums on; if you want to experience his breathtaking talent as a dancer and showman, in what would turn out to be the final weeks of his life, well, “This Is It.”
He doesn't look as though he is one step in the grave. At all. He looks damn ready to bomb London with his comeback.

Abducted Again.
So me and Nat went for breakfast before tuition. Ate at Corner's Club. Dim Sum. The funny thing is that when we walked in, the lady approached me to order... We wanted chinese tea. Then the lady said.. which type? i was like... uhhh... and then the lady showed me a bunch of mandarin words. Nat was like.. Ask for something that sounds like guan tin or smth. i was like.. asking the lady to go ask nat for orders instead. Lol. Being a chinese... Oh well.. Guess I'm pretty much as Anglo-phile as Letitia. but i don't think I'm that bad.. am i? lol. My point is Nat orders better at dim sum than me. Lol. The tray cart for fried food came by.. I took 3 plates. Nat didn't want. The cart steamed food came by.. Nat took 3. So we set it 3*2 so the fried facing me and the steamed facing her and we started to eat. Damn full. =D When we were in the car, Nat was cursing other drivers(as usual) and she happen to glare at the lady in the car beside. The lady thought Nat was someone she knew.. Yet she didn't.. So the lady was like gesturing something like do i know you? and Nat was shaking her head. And i was laughing like mad. Cause she was just cursing her before. LOL. Went tui. Followed her home.. My mom was supposed to fetch me from her place. Nat's mom wanted me to join them for lunch, i politely declined. *LOL* and she called my mom(to ask her not to fetch me). my mom was driving and didn't get her message. Mom arrived at Nat's house. Nat rushed out of her house, locked me IN her house, brought the keys out to talk to my mom. I was like finding a way out.. And her house only has ONE set of keys. -.- She locked me in HER house. Then she came in happily saying, your mom left. -.- So i continued stuffing myself. So darn full now. My whole post is bout Nat. Jeez. Doesn't that tell you how boring life is? Haven't posted the pics for that time when i went to her place for Deepavali. One day la.. haha. And her Barbie SHOE collection. Anyway, watched the exorcism of Emily Rose. My teory is that when you're watching with a lot of people, its not easy to be scared. Lol. We laughed through the scary parts. Nat pretended to screamed and everyone screamed in response. =D Grabbed from Facebook. =D

Will upload more next time. Hopefully you won't hear from me till December. Till then!

Happy SchizzowDay!
Happy birthday you grouchy old man. =D
Just a few days ago...
He: *Took a picture of me* *Points at it* So ugly
He: *after awhile* Omg, you look like me! There is family resemblence after all.
Me: Now you know you're ugly.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
which reminds me of this book.. This particular conversation caught my interest...
Molly:Don't you have some mirror where you can admire yourself?
Kevin:I've never seen a woman so hung up on my looks
Molly:Every woman is hung up on your looks, they just pretend its your personality.
=========================================
Went out with Ze and kelly for supper after tui. It was fun but they didn't eat much. -.- waste petrol. haha.
Went out with Nat and Su Hoei at like 8AM for breakfast before tui. They didn't each much either. but didn't waste petrol cause on the way.
From these two, I can conclude Natasha is a better driver but Ze Yin has a better sense of direction. Lol. Got lost with Nat. =D
